December 2025 – Investment: $6500
- Our ten graduates spent a day at Bright Future Academy for academic assessments, interviews, and uniform fittings.
- Paid first semester tuition fees for 1st grade for our graduates: Grace, Gracious, Evance, Purity, Imperia, Samir, Charity, Bilal, Vanessa, and Alice
- Our graduates placed their handprint on our new wall with orange paint to kick off a yearly tradition
- All staff received an extra one-month salary as a holiday bonus
- Christmas Day included a field trip with nature walk and a visit to The Arusha Safari Lodge to feed African animals such as zebra, elan and giraffe. Afterwards, the children and staff celebrated with a special holiday lunch followed by games and songs.
November 2025 – Investment: $3800
- Dedicated section of the wall plastered and painted white for graduating children’s handprints
- Extra groceries, crafts and decorations purchased for the end of year Christmas party

- Continuation of wall construction, we are about 1/2 way through

- Deposit for Christmas field trip for the children, which includes a nature walk and petting zoo
September 2025 – Investment: $14570
- We are full speed on purchasing materials and beginning construction of our perimeter security wall and entry gate
- Purchased 8000 bricks for wall

- Purchased 400 bags of cement for wall

- Ruth attended a 10 day Montessori conference in Dodoma freshening up her teaching methods/ reconnecting with colleagues
August 2025 – Investment: $1352
- Jeny (our unpaid intern) has been promoted to Assistant Operations Manager and is now salaried
- Health insurance purchased for all staff
- Fees paid for Ruth to attend a 2-week Montessori conference in the capital city of Dodoma in September
- Perimeter wall engineer onsite to plan wall construction and necessary gates
July 2025 – Investment: $6000
Immersion week at FCCF!!
Felicia, her husband Jeff, daughter/and teacher Allie, and family friend Seth spent a week volunteering, teaching, playing, and getting to know the children and staff.
An exceptional team of 6 medical and dental professionals from Health Mission Africa visited our school. Each child had a complete exam, and all were screened for typhoid, malaria, hepatitis, and HIV (all tested negative for all!)
- The dental team came another day to give a presentation on oral hygiene education/tooth brushing
- First Aid box/supplies purchased, as well as needed medications for some of the children for common/treatable illnesses
- All children given deworming meds- this will continue every 3 months/ cost covered by the Tanzanian government
- Additional $ allocated for food to add a nutritious protein “peanut butter” ball snack to the school meal plan as suggested by the doctors to continue to improve the health of our children
- Printer and paper purchased for operations staff
- General cleaning/kitchen supplies purchased, such as buckets, mops, rubber gloves, garbage bags, and plastic bins to organize classroom materials and to make “cubbies” for the children’s personal items and schoolwork to bring home
- 10 classroom bookcases built onsite by Jeff, Seth, Frank and Joel Laizer (Ruth’s son’s)
- Extra food purchase for a Fourth of July celebration for students, staff, the Laizer family, and all of us!
- All supplies that were hand-carried by us were organized in the classrooms on the bookcases
- Charts and classroom charts were hung in both classrooms and utilized by the teachers, including Allie
